In photos: this Mad Man ran into Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Demanding To See Ambode

A suppose mad man created an unusual scene at the Lagos State secretariat opposite elephant bus stop when he demanded to see the governor of Lagos”No he is mad “some said ,Yes he is a kidnapper” others argued.. Few said he must be one of the criminals that torment innocent citizens once the night falls.

I want to see Ambode ” he demanded.. What for?” one of the security guys asked as he rained koboko on his head. He was told to unwrap whatever that he has bagged.. Books and other rubbish were inside the bag but nothing incriminating was found.. Some began to sympathise with him.. May be he’s mad afterall? A woman at the scene retorted.. The argument ranges on as the man was whisked away in to the compound of the secretariat.. One man later said.. There a 4 levels of madness.. As far as psychiatry is concerned He then pointed to another man, Who knows.. even you. You may be a mad man.. Me..? You too you are mad.. In fact.. You dey craze.. Hmmmm.. I sighed Lagos and it’s wahala..

Meet 131-Year-Old “Iya Orisa” Living Under Olumo Rock (see her Photos)

Olumo Rock is one of the tourist destinations in the West African country where some indigenes of Egbaland hid during a civil war which broke out in the 19th century. The rock served as a shelter for many of the survivors, who were said to have hidden in specific areas inside the caves located inside the rocks to evade attacks from enemies. Some of these people eventually built small apartments inside the rocks and created places where they carried out their daily activities for about three years without getting into town. It was not until after the war that most of these people started coming out of their hiding to see the other people who survived the brutality of that period.

Linda ikeji replies wizkid's jab...calls him a kid...lol (click HERE to read)

So my darling little 'friend' Wizkid came on my IG page this morning to blast me for writing yesterday that he was given quit notice at the Lekki home he claimed he bought some years ago, which he actually rented. He threatened to beat me up...called me an ugly old bitch...(I'm ugly? lol) says I don't have a man (crying over that..) and called my mum a loser...(what a child).

Anyway, all that don't matter, people have said worse to me...what I wanted to address is the part where he said I slept with his director and he left me in a hotel...that one I will definitely want to address because some people actually believe it. That my dear friends, is a lie! Please continue... First and foremost, I've never met Wizkid one on one. I've only seen him once in real life on stage at a show a few years ago. I've never met anybody who is his director. Guess he put that line in his comments to defame me. You that mad that people now know the house is not yours? Lol.

Trust me, if I knew someone was Wizkid's director, I'd rather kill myself than sleep with him or any other entertainer for that matter (except maybe he's my husband..hehe) because I know how some of these entertainers are...they kiss and tell a lot. You can't afford to be messing around in their circle. So, no, I have NEVER slept with Wizkid's director. I live a celibate life..most of the time. (Though, that has to end soon...I'm getting old and missing out on that part of life...lol)

I've always been an advocate of women respecting their bodies and owning their own. And I feel se.x should only happen when you're in committed relationship (that is if you can't wait till marriage) and I recommend celibacy for a long as you're not committed to someone. There's absolutely no dignity in sleeping around and messing around with different men. It's ugly and God don't like ugly. So no, I'm not that woman, and will never be that woman. Nice try, Wizkid! Having said that, I'm sure, you wonder why Wizkid is so mad at me? To be honest, I don't know either. All I know is that his beef with me started a long time ago but he decided to start bashing me online after I refused a meeting with him. A few months ago, he asked his PR people to contact me, that he wanted to talk to me. For some reason, he thought I didn't like him and I was hurting his image online.

He wanted to see how I could write more positive things about him but I turned down the meeting. Not that I have anything against him, I sincerely don't! I think he's an amazing talent and one of the few music stars in Nigeria with a midas touch. So this wasn't personal. I just didn't want to meet him. If he lobbies me then it means I won't be able to write anything about him anymore...and my job is to write...about everything, including entertainers.

I am cordial with some of them...many of them I have never met. I try to stay away from gatherings where they are because the more friends you make in the entertainment industry, the less you can write. And that will inadvertently affect your work. The few ones that I call acquaintances, it's hard to write about them because you feel you're cool with them and even when you write, they call you to complain. So, the fewer 'friends' I have in the entertainment industry, the better my job will be.

So Wizkid can bash me all he wants...but I will continue to do my job. Maybe he thinks the more he bashes me, then I will stop writing about him? Won't work. But meanwhile, if he tells a lie about me, I will address it. LIB plans to be around for a long time...some of these people will come and go! :-). Thanks everyone and Wizkid fans for reading my response. Oh and by the way, did I mention that his Porsche car is also on hire purchase? Oh shit, I just mentioned that! And no, darling, you're not 25! We know your real age! Continue to have an amazing career while I watch and continue to celebrate you. Kisses

7 Reasons Why most Nigerian Youths Do Not Go To Church...

Fear driven presentations and demonstrations often force youths to go to church while under the shields of some dominating forces, mostly parental.

But not every young person will set going to church as a priority once he or she starts riding solo and under no real supervision. We’ve heard some pretty strange statistics about church goers, most of which are female adults and least of which are the young and vibrant youths who are expected to keep close to God when they are still young and active. All said, let’s see some 7 Reasons Why Nigerian Youths Do Not Go To Church.

1. They Believe Church Is Boring– Since it’s nothing like a party where ‘Lil Kesh’ would keep screaming a sinful phrase into their hearings, they don’t like it. They don’t fancy those left and right shifting dance steps vis-à-vis clapping in two’s at intervals. But let it be known that churches were never meant for entertainments. Maybe now that churches are singing ‘Godwin’, they might consider that.

2. They Believe The Church Is A Waste Of Time– The thing is, every one knows the message, “Jesus brings salvation”, “Jesus Is coming soon” etc. So why bother going to church to hear some repetitions of old sayings? This is also one of the reason why youths stay back from church, to them, they know the message the church is relaying.

3. They Don’t Have Clothes– The church was never meant to be fashion runway. They just do not understand this. They are always hell-bent on looking fly to church, to impress who? Maybe that Lady smiling at the microphone as she leads the choir sing. So, as long as there is no new designer dress, no church.

4. They Believe The Church Wants Their Money– A couple of Naira that will go a long way in sorting Bread and Beans at that local restaurant is too big for them to drop for God. They believe they will save some cash by staying back home instead of going to church. Even though there are truly some churches that talk more about offering and tithe than the kingdom of God, it is well.

5. They Believe Life Is Better Without Religion– This is an assertion but with that perspective, they tend to neglect church since its the “pillar” of religion. Going by the norms and commandments of the church by being a Christian are hectic for others. Some of them don’t care much about religion but a better relationship with God.

6. They Believe They Don’t Have Time– They believe some hours they will spend in church is better spent on cramming some aspects of that 201 course. Or probably spent tweeting and gathering twitter followers, or better still, to wash clothes, which is what they mostly do.

7. They Believe Worldly Engagements Are Sweeter– As long as there is power supply in the hood, larger percentage of the youths will shun church, you will hear sayings like “Devil already won today’s battle, but the war isn’t over yet”. Especially if the Super Eagles have a Match on that day, the church will be unconsciously scanty. These and more others are the reasons why Nigerian Youths Hardly Go To Church.

FG Is fully Determined To Reduce Nation’s Food Import Bill – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the Federal Government is determined to significantly reduce the high bill for importation of food products to Nigeria.

Speaking at a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mr Lars Rasmussen, in Washington DC, U.S., Buhari also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the rapid diversification of Nigerian economy. “We developed a mono-product economy and lost opportunities to diversify in the past. “We have great potential for agriculture and solid minerals; we are now determined to exploit them to the fullest,’’ Buhari said in a statement issued by Presidential Spokesman Femi Adesina on Saturday.

According to Buhari, addressing the past neglect of these two sectors will help to reduce unemployment and make Nigeria a more productive country. “We will welcome more investment in our agriculture and solid minerals sectors from countries with expertise in the two sectors. “We abandoned them for petroleum; Now, we have to go back.

“Our bill for the importation of food and dairy products is very high. “We want to cut it as much as possible by developing our local potential,” the President told Mr Rasmussen. Buhari assured the Danish Prime Minister that the Federal Government would continue to partner other countries to further improve maritime security in the Gulf of Guinea. The President said that his administration was determined to stop the huge loss of revenue from crude oil theft and had received assurances of international support to curb illegal shipments of Nigeria’s crude oil.

Remarking that his country was a major shipping nation, Rasmussen thanked Buhari for Nigeria’s current efforts to enhance security in the Gulf of Guinea. He assured the President that Danes would be very interested in investing in the development of Nigeria’s agricultural sector if the right policies and conditions were put in place. “We are quite experienced in agriculture; it is an area in which we can cooperate. “If you pave the way and remove the obstacles, we will like to come in,” the Prime Minister assured President Buhari.
