She was caught stealing provision including baby milk which she hid in between her legs and others -in her panties ..(“very smart indeed”)…..She was publicly disgraced before being handed to the authorities. 10 good Reasons Why You Should Attend A Private School In Nigeria

Few years ago, I was not a Fan of Private institution but fast forward to this Era, I think I will choose Private Institution over and over again for myself and for my unborn children. Years back, Government institutions use to be the best but are no longer making any sense.. Today na strike, Tommorow na fight, Next tomorrow na Protest.. I lie? – We don’t lie here on Naijaloaded 👅 – Makinde say so! Here are some reasons to attend a private university

1. A definite graduation date:

Unlike public institutions which are prone to strikes, in a private university there’s no possibility of a strike. Atleast 6 government universities have currently been shut down in Nigeria right now. University of Ibadan, UNILAG, UNIPORT, AAU, KSU etc are currently shut down.

This will lengthen the duration of time you are to spend on a program. Crime rate by students of these institutions have increased because they are now idle. Some of my friend in Fountain University, Osogbo in 2014 countdown from 112 to their Graduation day.. Guess what? They graduated on the exact day they had previously calculated, Try that in a public school, You will add another 300 days to make it work.

2. It’s safer:

No cult clashes, no protests. You won’t live in fear of some cult members or students vandalizing properties in the name of protests. One of the biggest undoings of public universities is Cultism… Which has claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people and cult members respectively. However, students in private universities are safe from the fear of a cult attack.

Protests are also very violent these days. Just the way it happened in UNILAG and UNIPORT where lots of properties were destroyed and some lives were in fact lost, in a private school there’s no chance for that.

3. A faster syllabus:

It takes just about 4 years to complete a 5 year program in private schools. However public schools have a slower academic calendar. Even without the strikes, the calendar of a private school is usually faster than that of a public school.

4. A more concentrated learning process:

In private schools, special attention is given to every student of the school. The lecturers all have a duty to pay special attention to each and everyone of the student and put them through their lacks. This way your flaw is easily detected and will be dealt with appropriately. However in public schools especially with the size and population, it is impossible for this to happen. The school have almost no personal relationship with the students and they are not aware of any personal psychological needs of the students.

5. Better welfare:

The individual welfare of the students are catered for. The accommodation is way better than you get in hostels of public schools. Most times they have no light or water problems. The condition of their hostels and classes is way better too. Even in general courses you won’t see them running to catch sits because everyone gets to sit down comfortable. With the welfare learning is made a lot easier because you will be less strained.

6. Better Moral Training:

The university is the melting point of all moral standards. There’s no form of anti-moral behaviour you wouldn’t find in a university. However, private universities, with their very strict enforcement of moral values, have reduced the decay in moral values by far.

7. Superior real world experience and laboratory:

Most private universities are not just well equiped but super equiped. Covenant university, Babcock university and Afe babalola uniniversity combined easily dwarfs all public federal and state universities combined in laboratory equipment standard and volume or availability per student. I am pretty sure it will remain same if all state schools are added to public schools while other private universities are added to the mentioned schools.

8. Organized system:

In private systems. You get your transcripts easily. In public univerisites the reverse is the case 40% of the time. Same pattern holds for Jamb regularization, NYSC call-up and result checking.

9. No Lecturers Threat:

You hardly see or hear about Lecturers harassing ladies in Private institutions or hear about Lecturer threatening to Fail you or not allow you Graduate. Come down to Public institutions, A Lecturer can make you fail for using Blackberry Q10 while he’s using Blackberry bold 5. A Lecturer told my friend he won’t graduate just because he drives Honda EOD, said he’s using the same car with the HOD.. Can you imagine?

10. Add Yours

Tell us anything odd that you think happens in Public institutions but will never happen in a Private institutions. We want to hear from you too. Drop your Comments.

Gov. Ambode finally approves payment of lump sum leave allowance to staff

In line with his commitment to improve the welfare of the state workforce, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has approved the lump sum payment of leave allowance to all staff in the State’s mainstream Civil Service, Local Governments and the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) with effect from May, 2016. The State Head of Service, Mrs.

Olabowale Ademola in a circular she issued on Thursday in Alausa, Ikeja, explained that the approval was sequel to agreements reached during a meeting with the Lagos State Public Service Joint Negotiating Council (JNC). She said, “Consequently, leave allowance which is 10 per cent of Annual Basic Salary would henceforth be payable once annually and no longer on a monthly basis. The payments would be in batches”.

Ademola said that Officers between Grade Levels 1 and 8 would be paid in May, Officers between Grade Levels 9 and 12 would be paid in July; Officers between Grade Levels 13 and 14 would be paid in September while Officers between Grade Levels 15 and 17 would get their annual leave allowances in October.

She said that the gesture was in furtherance of the State Government’s commitment to the welfare of its workforce, just as she tasked the staff to reciprocate Government’s gesture by renewing their dedication and commitment to duty through improved service delivery to the citizenry.

“The above listed Government Functionaries are hereby enjoined to take note of this approval. I implore you to eschew disloyalty, indiscipline, nonchalant attitude and low productivity.” Mrs. Ademola said SIGNED JIDE LAWAL PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICER OFFICE OF THE HEAD OF SERVICE LAGOS STATE

Uni ibadan students speaks!!! Join the trending hashtag on twitter #freeMote

I represent the body of Nigerians students who have no voice and are currently victimized and are expected to remain silent because if we talk'' SDC wee carry us''.We live in constant fear of whose turn it will be.We don’t know who they will pick on next.

We are the supposed leaders of tomorrow.Leaders are supposed to be groomed to cater for their immediate society no matter the cost.Yet when we peacefully speak up for our entitlements we get punished for daring to ask.

Sometimes last year,Oluwafemi Odesola(huntersola),the former president of the student union university of Ibadan had the guts to lie to the entire student population that Mayowa Alaran(RIP) HAD DIED BEFORE HE GOT TO JAJA.The truth is that Mayowa lost his life because he was not catered for at the school's clinic.Let us not forget.......

Mayowa could have been my brother, your brother, your cousin, your son................ No water,No light yet if a protest to show displeasure is called,SDC letters will be served. Its about that time that we stand united as one body Mote,He is my brother,my friend.....He is not a thief...He spoke and fought against injustice and victimization of fellow students and he is going to serve an extra year for it

They say if we protest tomorrow he will be expelled.Greatest UITES,its about that time we stopped suffering Let us not forget that some years back when the management stopped serving turkey and switched to chicken there was a protest by these same people who are serving SDC letters.....

I am a leader

I am an activist

I will stand for the truth everywhere i find myself

I will stand for the truth no matter the cost

I will stand against the victimization of students

I will fight for justice because i am an essential part of this country and my voice must be heard

#FreeMote Greatest Nigerian Students! This is to bring to your notice that today's complaint rally will hold and it will be a massive one! It is a peaceful protest for freedom.

It is a peaceful protest against oppression.

It is a peaceful protest against victimization.

It is a peaceful protest against intimidation.

It is a peaceful protest against injustice. It's a peaceful protest for improved welfarism.

It's a peaceful protest against the irrational distribution of SDC letters... It is a peaceful protest for MOTE!

MOTE is a 500 level student of the department of Petroleum Engineering and a residence of the Great Independence hall, University of Ibadan. Mote was rusticated for a semester for being part of a protest demanding improved welfare of katangites last semester.

We say #No to this #Victimisation. An injustice to one is an injustice to all. #FreeMote #Today! We are #Locking down #UI for #Mote

The Kingdom Of Biafra already Existed 500 Years Before Nigeria – IPOB

According to Today NG, The Indigenous People of Biafra have declared that Biafra as a group existed 500 years before the creation of Nigeria by Great Britain.

The spokesman of the groupEmma Powerfulsaid this in a statement: The ancient map of Africa in 1662 showed the three kingdoms in West Africa from where the new country called Nigeria was created by the colonial masters. The three kingdoms were the Kingdom of Zamfara in the North; Kingdom of Biafra from the East and the Kingdom of Benin in the West.

The three kingdoms existed on the map of Africa for more than 500 years before Nigeria was created in 1914. The kingdom of Biafra and Benin shared common boundaries and had the Atlantic Ocean in the South with direct access to the sea, through their bays known as Bight of Biafra and Bight of Benin.

Powerful also said that IPOB members are Nigerians by citizenship but Biafrans by indigenous identity. He used the example of the United Kingdom where Scots, Welsh, Irish and Anglo-Saxons maintain their indigenous identities as different people, but are of British citizenship. He also said that IPOB has the right to pursue the independence of Biafra land under international law.

Theses are the Things Ladies Should Stop Doing If They Don’t Have Plans For A Guy

The truth is painful but must be spoken nonetheless. I’ve heard some complaints from some friends plus some of my past experiences.

Ladies, if you don’t have plans for a guy stop the following: 1. Stop calling him “sweet names” like dearie, sweetheart, honey, love etc. We know you’re a “lovie duvie” but biko, control it enh…don’t give him false hope. Let friends be friends NOT lovers. Unless you want to switch over, then you open up.

2. Stop visiting him on skimpy clothes and buttoned shirts, especially when you’re ‘courageous’. You visit a guy whose ear has filled with topics like ‘How ladies behave when they want to get laid“. If you don’t have plans for him, quit sending those signals. Remember: To every sequence, there is a consequence.

3. Stop getting jealous when you see him with other girls You don’t want to marry him, yet you get jealous when he’s making headway, relationship-wise. You’re not his mother, biko. Friends sef have limits.

4. Stop discussing your past relationships with him- it’s not his business. This thing you are saying is communicating something different to his mind. You want to talk with someone, you have besties right? False hope everywhere! cheesy Now, what do you want him to do? Leave his girl and come solve your relationship problems?

5. Stop visiting him at odd or questionable hours This is one major way smart and decent girls nicely wipe the thought away from the mind of numerous suitors. If you don’t want intimacy, don’t visit him at all sef. Not like all guys are like that, but MOST girls are like that. A girl visits you and choose to be a good boy, then she hates you. The next point expatiate more…

6. Don’t suggest sleeping in his house or vice versa because something might happen. This offers a protective measure. Don’t get me wrong: if there’s an understanding, it’s okay. More often than not, in a corrupt world of ours, no one can be trusted in a cold bed. You can trust him but can you trust his “down there”. If you don’t want “harassment”, avoid stuff like this.

7. Don’t “miss” him. Ever woke up in the morning and you see a text message in your phone by “just a friend’ saying ‘I miss you’. That stirs up questions as much as it does hormones. It’s risky.

8. Stop ‘breasting’ him You don’t have plans for him and you’ll be staining his white clean shirt with your b00bs. C’mon! That’s unfair! Some will just come with their coconut and rest on your body as if your skin cells are dead and gone. Let’s change in 2016.

Abeg enh, let’s know the ladies that are still single and available. Don’t colour-blind us. If you are in love, show it and don’t act funny when we reciprocate. Relationship leads to marriage when both parties are honest to themselves. Its childish and evil to start acting innocent after you have caused him to sin at heart. I honestly believe, a few guys won’t easily swallow this bitter pill as they’ll seek ways to avenge.
