Stephen Yaki, a 30-year-old motorcyclist, has been arraigned before the Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court. Lagos, for allegedly stealing eggrolls.
The offence was committed on July 23, 2016, according to the prosecuting officer, Inspector Innocent Uko.
Reports reaching us is that thirteen inmates have escaped in a prison break that occurred at the Koton Karfe Medium Security Prison in Kogi State.
The incident was said to occur at about 7.10am on Saturday where the inmates were said to have broken out of their cells and escaped through the fence.
Three of the 13 escapee are convicts.
This is about the third time a prison break is taking place at the Koton Karfe Prison.
