An 18 year old teen mum (pictured above) was murdered in Pennsylvania by a 16 year old girl after the two argued over the 18yr old’s boyfriend. Read the story below from MediaTakeOut A shocking crime has the entire town of Scranton, Pennsylvania, scratching their heads. An 18-year-old new mom named Kayla VanWert died at the hospital Sunday night from stab wounds. Police claim that she was killed by a 16-year-old girl named Cathleen Boyer. Cathleen has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and tampering with evidence.

According to a police report, Cathleen stabbed Kaylat in the neck and chest just before 10 p.m. Sunday. The police report says Kayla and Boyer were in a heated argument on Facebook, reportedly over Kayla’s baby’s father.

Kayla then left her home to confront Cathleen who allegedly stabbed Kayla in the neck and chest, and the knife broke. Detectives later found pieces of a broken knife in the alley.
