A 39-year-old school proprietor, Mrs. Hassana Yusuf on Thursday told an Igando Customary Court that her husband, Mr Adisa Yusuf, once entered her own mother’s room stark nak*d. “He was nak*d in front of our children and went to meet my mum in her room stark nak*d. My mother had to cover her eyes”, the wife said in frustration. NAN reports that she in the case is seeking the dissolution of her 11-year old marriage to Mr Yusuf.

At the resumed hearing of the case on Thursday, Hassana accused her estranged husband of battering, lack of care for her and her children, threat to life, blackmail and absence of love. “When our third born was sick, he wanted to go out and I refused to allow him. I said that our child must not die, but the next thing I saw was that he stripped himself nak*d.

“If I agree to keep providing for the family, there won’t be any problem, provided he would be nice to me and the children. But since I have refused to keep shouldering his responsibilities, he became a demon.

“He said he will kill me and take over what we both laboured for; he boasts that nobody will question him,” she said. The wife also told the court that her husband was in the habit of accusing her.

“There was a day we fought and he hit me with a nail on my head. On more than three occasions in 2012, he abandoned me and the children. He once left the house for a year,” she said. As usual, the husband denied all the allegations.

“I had to show my mother-in-law what her daughter normally does to me whenever I tell her there is no money. She usually stripes me nak*d. That was why I went to her room nak*d. “I earn N30,000 every month and I give her everything. Does that not show my love for her and the children?” he told the court.

Adisa accused his wife of unfaithfulness. “She has so many boyfriends, I have evidence to show that she is unfaithful, my fellow landlords are her boyfriends.” The husband even said that he doubts the paternity of their last child. The court President, Adegboyega Omilola, said the couple to attend ADR meeting on March 3.

The case was then adjourned to June 28, for final judgment, based on the outcome of the meeting.

EFCC Moves To Seize Property Of Fugitive Tompolo

The Economic And Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) today in Lagos asked the Federal High Court for an order to seize all property, movable and immovable, belonging to wanted former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo).

In a public announcement last week declaring Tompolo wanted, the EFCC said the action was in connection with conspiracy and illegal diversion of the sums of N34billion and nearly N12 billion belonging to the Nigerian Maritime Administration (NIMASA). Also charged in the matter are nine other defendants, including a former Managing Director of the agency, Patrick Akpobolokemi.

In the exparte motion before the court, the EFCC listed several properties in Delta State reportedly belonging to Tompolo.

In a supporting affidavit filed by Adah John Adah of Festus Keyamo Chambers dated February 17, the EFCC recalled that Tompolo has since being charged to court persistently refused and failed to honour the several invitations extended to him.

He deposed that following the issuance of the warrant of arrest on January 14, Tompolo absconded and has concealed himself from the security forces in the country looking for him to execute the order.

He further told the court that a combined team of the Nigerian police and the military have been combing the creeks and the entire nation for Tompolo, but that he has continued to conceal himself.

I remember when I used to womanize. thank God am a new creature. womanizing can lower your integrity to Zero. let me use Biblical references, see the case of judah who went out to sleep with a prostitute not knowing it was his daughter inlaw, he had no money but he gave her his belongings. when he was told she was pregnent he said they should stone her to death. but she said, judas is the owner of the pregnancy.

4. BAD GRAMMAR:-

it is so saddening that even the so called graduate of ENGLISH STUDIES cannnot speak english fluently. I heard a graduate giving a testimony of what happened to him. He said, I quote ” area boys pursued me and they wanted to CHUK me the knife…. chuk i covered my face in shame. if you cannot speak good english it will be very hard for you to speak in public.

5. STEALING:-

when i say stealing, it is not related to picking someones property. therefore having s*x without marriage is stealing, why? because you stole her vagina and used it. Did God permit you she shameful aspect of it is when you are caught Unclad… ask tosyne2much, i know he might be probably caught when he was in the world….. smiling.

6. UNWANTED PREGNANCY:-I WON’T

waste time on this, but when you mistakenly, did I call it mistake? yes because that is the normal language we use for it. When you impregnate a girl, there will be shame all over you, especially when you are poor.
