NFF Reacts To Sunday Oliseh’s Resignation (read )

The Nigerian Football Federation has reacted to Sunday Oliseh’s resignation as Super Eagles coach. The spokesman of the Federation, Ademola Olajire, in an interview with NTA today, said the federation heard of Oliseh’s resignation in the media and was yet to receive a letter from the coach as at when he was responding to the interview. “As far as we are concerned, it is good riddance to bad rubbish. He is not the kind of person we thought he was. Oliseh is gone and we have to move forward,” Olajire said “He went on YouTube to abuse Nigerians. The Minister pleaded with the federation to allow him to remain in place for our next two matches. The Boko Haram Terrorists are Migrating To Train In Somalia, Security Chief Says

Boko Haram fighters are crossing Africa to receive specialized training from Al Shabaab fighters in Somalia, the country’s national security chief told CNN.

The Nigerian terror group were taught how to carry out suicide attacks and build weaponry in Al Shabaab training camps, said General Abdirahman Sheikh Issa Mohamed.

Mohamed, who is the national security adviser to Somalia’s president, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, said that Boko Haram members were trained in the country between 2010 and 2012 in south central Somalia, areas previously controlled by Al-Shabaab.

He added that he believed the Al-Shabaab and Boko Haram operatives are still “sharing tactical operational skills,” as well as “maintaining cyber and physical contact.”

Mohamed said the information had been shared with international partners, such as at the recent Munich Security conference in Germany, where the president of Somalia confirmed that Boko Haram and Al Shabaab had joined forces.

“We believe that the two violent extremist groups share more values and interest here in Africa than their mother group (ISIS and Al-Qaeda) would,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Military has recorded massive victory against the ragtag terrorists in recent raids in the Northeastern part of the country. Thousands of Boko Haram hostages including women and children have been freed between January and February 2016. However, according to records, none of the 217 missing Chibok girls have been rescued.
