Top English premier league Club Kicks Off Transfer Talks With zlatan Ibrahimovic

Reports from France say that a top English Premier League (EPL) club has made contact with outgoing Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic just hours after he confirmed his planned exit from the French club at the end of the season on Monday.

Reputable French sports publication, L’Equipe reports on Tuesday that Manchester United has stolen a march on Chelsea by making contact with Ibrahimovic ahead of a proposed free transfer even though the striker is set for talks over an extension at Paris Saint-Germain next month. Chelsea had been the leading club expected to sign on Ibrahimovic but now it is clear that Manchester United which has had a pretty bad season so far is also deeply interested in getting in a good bargain for the Swedish striker.

Ibrahimovic had confirmed his readiness to dump Ligue 1 side, PSG on Monday even though the club still wants him according to PSG president. “For the moment, I will not be at PSG next season,” the 34-year-old said. “I still have a month and a half left here.” Ibrahimovic, who is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with a move to the Premier League, said he would only stay “if they replace the Eiffel Tower with a statue of me.”

Mavin first lady, Tiwa Savage Pens Emotional Message After Visiting Orphanage In South Africa

Tiwa who is presently in South Africa, visited an orphanage there today and wrote on how emotional she got seeing the beautiful children there. She shared these photos and wrote “Today I visited an orphanage in Glenvista SA called “Door Of Hope” I think it is very important to try and sew a seed when I travel. I heard about this orphanage and how it started and I decided I had to go and do my little part to help. “I don’t even know when I started crying uncontrollably. These babies are so so so beautiful, I can’t imagine how much hardship and pain these mothers must have gone through to make such a difficult decision.

I also thought of where these little ones would end up if no one adopts them. 💔💔💔 we live in a harsh world and we judge people sometimes not knowing what their background is or what they’ve had to endure. I feel in love with their little souls, just watched some of them sleeping with their little hearts beating. God help us all create a better world for the little innocent ones”.

According to the governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Mr Godwin Emefiele, this is to empower eligible youths under the Youth Initiative Empowerment Development Programme (YIEDP) which was launched today.

His words:- “The programme is open to youths who are either serving in the National Youth Service Corps or those who have not spent more than 5 years post NYSC service, thereby fixing the problem of inadequate finance often encountered by business start-ups. And recipient that utilise the funds properly can be encouraged to migrate to the other CBN interventions wherein they access more funds.” He said that N210bn had been set aside for the programme. A robust operational framework to deliver a bias-free qualification and selection process, has been developed.

CBN is targeting 10,000 youths with the aim of creating one million direct jobs within the next 4 years. CBN in collaboration with NYSC came up with the initiative. He commended the efforts of the DG of NYSC, Brig Gen Johnson Olawumi, and Mr Akinsola Akinfemiwa, Chairman, Heritage Bank for their commitment to the programme.

The NYSC DG said YIEDP is focused on providing world class training and start-up capital to corps members who had indicated interest in Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship (SAED).

UNIOSUN Ipetu-Ijesa Campus In Turmoil Today (see Photos).....

UNIOSUN Ipetu-Ijesha Campus, is certainly not having the best of times today. In the spirit of Aluta and solidarity, the angry students ensured a total lockdown of vehicular movement to and fro the campus premises. According to an eyewitness, neither the lecturers nor students were granted access into the school. Trouble started yesterday when some of the defaulting students were sent out of the exam hall for non-payment of the tuition fee. Initially it was considered a mere threat by the students until the authorities made good their promise. Over 70% of the students were affected by the school’s decision and this resulted in a showdown which could best be described as “action packed” . Those affected were sent out of the halls because they are yet to pay their school fees, or unable to provide evidence of payment for this session In the defence of the students, the union leaders argued the authority’s decision was harsh, unruly and selfish since the students would still pay the said tuition by whatever means necessary. Most affected are the final year students as that meant an automatic extra year for them, what a way to go. Considering the economic situation of the country, we need not go far as to why the school is in such mess. Presently, workers in osun state are being owed over 4 months salary with no hope in sight. This cash drought hasnt left the university’s coffers healthy either. On either sides, money is lacking. Having said that, it is still humanly possible for the school management to cope even with the non-payment of student tuition rather than opting to send the students out of the exam hall because most certainly, they would still have to pay However, i humbly plead with the student representatives to give peace a chance. Breaking bottles, locking gates, barricading routes wont give a lasting solution.
