According to media aide to Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, Lere Olayinka, a warrant of arrest has been issued for former PDP secretary in Ekiti state, Tope Aluko. This arrest warrant comes after he made allegations on the 2014 governorship election in the state while speaking on ChannelsTV on Sunday Janaury 31st. He alleged that the Ekiti state governorship election was rigged and that former president Goodluck Jonathan gave Fayose $35 million to rig the election.The same Aluko had at a state election tribunal last year, testified that the election was free and fair, hence the perjury against him now.
