Pastor E.A Adeboye Is A Murderer – Kemi Olunloyo alleges

Kemi Omololu Olunloyo, daughter of former Oyo state Governor Victor Omololu Olunloyo and popularly known for her controversial statements on social media, in a recent interview with Pulse TV said Pastor EA Adeboye is a murderer.

“In 1971, Adeboye thought he was shooting an armed robber, but he shot a cop instead,”she said. Olunloyo added that Pastor Adeboye criticizes single mothers’ and that is why she keeps going after him on social media. “Adeboye said if you are a single mother you have no worth; I am a single mother, we have worth, we don’t have to be married,” Olunloyo said. “You don’t have to be married to have children,” she added.

She further lamented on how he criticizes women who bleach or whiten their skins and how a woman can be fulfilled without being married. “I drove a $55,000 Toyota Land Crusier in America, I made a $150,000 annually as a pharmacist, not adding what I made as a journalist. “I was featured on Vogue in 1995 on a financial article,” she bragged. “So why would he say I have no worth? That’s the only reason I am going after him.” Watch The Video Below:-

This is The Nigerian Governor Who Doesn’t Eat Foreign Rice...

– Abia governor says importation of rice should be discouraged – Encourages members of his cabinet to own a farm each – Tasks President Buhari’s administration to get alternatives for survival Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state has removed foreign rice from his food menu.

The executive governor of Abia state, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has reportedly boycotted the eating of foreign rice, Eagle Online reports. The governor, it was gathered, has refused to take foreign rice in the last six months as he has reportedly struck it out of his menu. His reason is that he wants to demonstrate to everybody worldwide that Nigeria, with her rich agricultural potentials, has the capacity to fend for itself in food production.

He said: “We cannot be blessed with the kind of arable land we have in the North and the fertile rainforest in the South and still be dependent as a country on foreign food.” The governor informed further that as a way of tackling the prevailing economic challenges caused by the global oil slide, the country must develop a new policy that will not allow importation of foreign foods, rather encourage the cultivation of local foods.

While stressing that this is time for Nigerians to value the richness of our local menu, he advised the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to look for alternative measures of survival in agriculture. Ikpeazu, who is presently leading an agricultural revolution in the state has ordered all members of his executive council and principal officers to own a farm this year, stating said they must return to land in order to recover its original status as the food haven of Nigeria.

This latest move by the Abia governor is coming after his Lagos state counterpart recently partnered with Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state to put an end to the importation of rice and see to the processing and distribution of food between the two states. The partnership is aimed at bringing about national food sufficiency and food security, as well as creating employment and wealth distribution for the benefit of both states and the nation in general.

There's No Sufficient Power To supply Nigeria – Fashola

Nigeria’s Minister of Power Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, says there is currently not enough power to distribute unless more turbines are switched on. He attributed recent power outages in some parts of the country to four turbines which stopped working, but hoped electricity supply would be stabilized soon as three of the four turbines have been restored. The Minister also expressed hope that President Muhammadu Buhari’s 10,000 megawatts target would be met. He, however, decried acts of vandalism which he says is causing some of the energy problems in the country. Source: ChannelsTv

The Lagos State Ministry of Education has disbursed special local scholarships worth N23,480,000 to 60 blind students and 366 others. The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Education, Mr Obafela Bank-Olemoh presented the recipients with their cheques in his office with support from Mrs Omautan Jegede, the Director, Lagos State Scholarship Board (LSSB).

In his speech, while thanking the government, the Principal of the school, Mr Shola Ogunsiji, said the scholarship would go a long way to help the school educate and rehabilitate the students, some of whom became blind as a result of accidents or illnesses. Bank-Olemoh said the government is still giving scholarships despite the harsh economy because it prioritises education. He said the three categories of recipients that got the scholarship were proof that the government cares for all students.

“We have demonstrated as a state that we are true trustees of the society. You don’t have to know anybody to access our scholarship scheme. You have never heard that Lagos State scholars have not being paid. Lagos has students on foreign scholarship and it has not happened that they were not paid,” he said. The students, however, expressed gratitude to the government for putting a smile on their faces.

In an interview with The Jamaica Gleaner, Queen Chin reveals that she is very honoured to represent Jamaica in such a big way.

"My ancestors were taken away as slaves, but I have returned to Africa as a queen. One's destiny cannot be altered. As a young child, I always wanted to come to Africa, but didn't know how. I feel this is a great opportunity for black people worldwide to return to their home." In a Facebook post, Emmanuel Mathias, in support of the queen, declared: "Destiny is powerful, her ancestor was taken away as slave, but she return back home as queen. Let us embrace her and tell her you are welcome back home. This is one giant step towards bringing back home our descendants that great fathers and mothers were casted away."

The queen added: "Our forefathers and ancestral mothers were cast away as slaves to never return, but I want Jamaicans everywhere to know that Africa is so nice. The culture and traditions are so rich and lovely. It's truly something every black person should come and experience." Also, as queen, the king and I like to regularly visit the local schools in the community to remind the children of the importance of education and excelling in all areas of their school work and examinations." The queen said her husband is the first king to actually take the time to visit the children. "We believe they are the future," she remarked.

In her esteemed position as a Nigerian queen, she said she faces only minor challenges one of which is her being not fluent in the native language which is Yoruba. "I know some words. Its a big lie!!! I Never Slapped My Deputy − El-Rufai

Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has denied slapping his Deputy, Barnabas Bala. The governor said both of them had been good friends since they attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Kaduna State several years ago. El-Rufai said he had known his deputy since 1976 at ABU and that nothing had ever led them to fight.

The root of alleged physical combat between El-rufai and Bala was that the Governor and the deputy have been having a cold war over alleged plans by the governor to sack top civil servants in the state. But El-Rufai, in an interactive session with select journalists, simply laughed over the allegation, saying that the rumour mongers were not intelligent enough.

He said if such incident occurred, there would have been video or photo evidence of the fight by some executive members of the State councils, “because nobody is prevented from entering the meeting with his or her phone”. El-Rufai said, “I have known Bala Bantex since 1976, I never had an argument with him, I respect his opinions, and each time I travelled out of the country, I make him an Acting governor, he signs documents on my behalf.

“We chair executive council meetings together, we operate like partners, and now people want to create enmity between us. I am of age, I can’t descend so low. This rumour is completely false, it is created to cause division. “We never discussed retrenchment of workers in the state as claimed by the rumour mongers. “I have never slapped anyone in my life. I have never argued with Bala, I don’t slap people, I fight people with mouth,” El-Rufai said.

How some 3 Kids Found Colonel Samaila Inusa’s Dead Body

Three children went to pluck cashew from a bush opposite Ajyaita Village in Kakau District of Chikun LGA of Kaduna State on Tuesday, but ran into a very unlikely sight-a corpse, which was later identified as that of the abducted military officer. Ajyaita village is about 10 kilometres from Kaduna city centre, and lies along the Eastern By-pass which links the Abuja-Kaduna express way to the southern part of the state. The children had set out for the forest opposite the village on Tuesday morning and met the decomposing body by a narrow footpath leading to the forest.

Some elders told Daily Trust that the children then ran back home to reveal the unpleasant information to a farmer who they earlier met on their way to the forest. The man was planting yam seedlings at a farm. After hearing the children’s story, he rushed to the spot to confirm it, and he in turn, ran to inform the village head. The village head informed the police authorities who deployed some policemen to accompany him to the spot.

The police then called the army authorities who came to inspect the corpse. Therein came the painful confirmation-it was the body of Colonel Samaila Inusa, who was kidnapped a few days earlier. “The military came with photographs and confirmed that he was the one. There was no identity card found on him, but the military identified him as the missing colonel. The place he was found is a bush path that is accessible by a car. The bush is also close to a village called Kefinary,” an elder said. Residents of Ajyaita refused to take our correspondents to the place, saying the place had been cordoned off by soldiers who asked people to stay away for now. Daily Trust noticed some heavily armed policemen patrolling the area while villagers were busy with their work without any noticeable tension.

The colonel was buried yesterday at the Ribadu Cantonment, Old Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) site in Kaduna according to Islamic rites. Draped in the national colours of green-white-green, the body arrived the old NDA cemetery around11.45am from the 44 Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna and was interred at noon after prayers at the NDA Juma’at mosque.

Relations, colleagues and friends couldn’t hold back tears, while some cried loudly. The Chief Administrative Officer of the Nigerian Army, Major General Ado Abubakar, who represented the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, said it was a great loss to the Nigerian Army. He described late colonel as a very committed officer who never joked with his responsibilities and announced that the army would do everything possible to get those behind the killing.

“Col. Inusa was a great soldier. We all feel the pains. Though death is inevitable and nobody can run away from it. I came in to represent my boss, the Chief of Army Staff because the Nigerian Army is mourning one of us that had really served this country greatly and we are not really happy the way he died, but whatever happened, we will see to the end of it all,” he said. The Commander, Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Major General Kasim Abdulkarim, said the late Samaila who served under his command was a loyal, committed and hardworking officer who would be fondly missed by his colleagues.

Gen. Abdulkarim urged officers and men of the Nigerian military to take precautionary measures for their personal safety. The colonel’s younger brother, Mustapha Inusa, described him as generous, saying, he was good to everyone, both within and outside his family. “He was our family’s breadwinner and we will miss his dearly. Samaila is dead and he was buried in the presence of his parents, you know what it feels like for parents to bury their children, it is not a good feeling, his parents will really feel his absence because he was the one who used to cater for them,” he said.

Colonel Inusa, who was the Commander, 81 Battalion in Bulabulin, Damboa LGA of Borno State before he became Chief Instructor at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Jaji, Kaduna State, was honoured with a three- gun salute by officers. A close friend of the deceased and former Minority Leader of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Muhammad Ali, described him as a humble and calm person who was loved by all.

Another close family friend who simply gave her name as Mama Hauwa described the late Samaila as a perfect gentle man. She prayed that his soul rest in peace while calling on the military authorities not to relent in their resolve to get the killers. Born in 1972 in Nasarawa LGA of Kano State, Col. Inusa attended Ramat Special Primary School from 1979 to1985 and proceeded to the Ahmadiyya Secondary School, Kano where he obtained his West African School Certificate in 1991.

He gained admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy in 1992 as a member of the 44th Regular Course and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science. He was the aide-de-camp to Sierra-Leonean Vice- President and was promoted to the rank of Colonel last year. His last appointment was as Chief Instructor at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry, Jaji.

Only. Suicide Bomber were Held In Cameroon Not Missing Chibok Schoolgirls – Parents

Parents from Chibok community in Borno State have denied a girl held by Cameroonian authorities, after an aborted suicide bombing mission, is one of 219 missing female students abducted by Boko Haram in 2014. The girl had claimed she was one of the missing school girls, the Cameroonian government said.

The Murtala Muhammed Foundation, involved in efforts to identify the girl, said in a statement on Wednesday that three authorised representatives of the community confirmed the girl was not one the school girls kidnapped on April 14, 2014. Read the group’s statement signed by Aisha Muhammed-Oyebode, its chief executive.

“On Wednesday, March 30, three authorised representatives of the parents of the 219 missing Chibok girls arrived the Murtala Muhammed Foundation (MMF) offices from Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State to view photos of the girl claiming to be one of the 219 missing students kidnapped by Boko Haram. “Mr. Yakubu Nkeki, chairman, Lawan Zana secretary, Mrs. Yana Galang women leader of the Chibok Girls Movement, all of whose children are amongst the kidnapped 219 Chibok girls were upon their arrival shown photos of the girl who was arrested along with another woman on Friday March 25th carrying explosives in Limani, Cameroon.

“A set of photographs had been sent to the MMF on the evening of Monday 28th of March by Garba Shehu, Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity. A more recent batch of photos, taken at 2pm on Tuesday 29th of March was sent to the MMF by Ambassador Hadiza Mustafa, Nigeria’s High Commissioner to Cameroon. “The earlier set of photos showed the girl partially clothed and squatting on the sandy floor within a low cement wall enclosure, which was surrounded by soldiers and some civilians. In that same batch, the woman was being carried in the arms of a soldier, with her face swollen and plaster covering different parts of her body. She was also partially clothed. “In the more recent photos, however, the girl was fully clothed, standing against a wall and looking into the camera. The woman was also standing straight beside what appeared to be a hospital bed, she was fully-clothed. Her face still appeared slightly swollen with dressing on her forehead.

“The Nigerian government by Tuesday afternoon had already informed the MMF that the girl has clearly identified herself as Maryam Alhaji Wakeel, 12 years old, originally from Maiduguri but abducted from Bama when the town was overrun by Boko Haram a year ago. The woman has identified herself as Aishatu Usman, a 35-year-old mother of two children.

“However the identification process was still carried out to lay to rest any claims that the girl is one of the 219 girls kidnapped from their school in Chibok on April 14th 2014. Mr. Nkeki, Mallam Zana and Mrs. Galang have confirmed that the girl and the woman do not fit the description of any of the missing daughters from Chibok.

“We have also made arrangements for other stakeholders to view the photos at the MMF office in Abuja as we are yet to ascertain how the girl came to describe herself as one of the missing Chibok girls. “The identity of the girl notwithstanding, the MMF has informed the Nigerian government of its willingness to continue to pursue the matter, and is willing to provide the captured girl and woman any support they may require.

“These girls and women are merely victims, and must be treated as such by the society. They have already undergone grave violence at the hands of their Boko Haram captors. We must ensure that they are not made to undergo additional violence at the hands of their compatriots. “Nigerian government officials have informed the MMF that both Maryam Alhaji Wakeel and Aishatu Usman have been handed over to the Nigerian military this evening and are currently on their way back to Nigeria.”

Oops! FIFA Bans Ivory Coast Defender Emmanuel Eboué For 1 year

FIFA, the world’s football governing body has banned Ivory Coast and Sunderland defender Emmanuel Eboué for one year. FIFA passed the judgement on the former Arsenal defender this morning for refusing to pay his agent for agent fees owed. This means won’t be able to play football for 360 days effective from this morning until the fee is completely paid. The ban will be lifted once he pays up. Read FIFA’s full statement after the cut.

”Emmanuel Eboué, who has represented Côte d’Ivoire and is currently registered for the English club Sunderland A.F.C., is to serve a ban on taking part in any football-related activity that will last for one year or until he pays the total outstanding amount owed to his former agent if this occurs before the one-year ban has elapsed.” The origins of the case involve a decision passed by the single judge of the FIFA Players’ Status Committee in July 2013 regarding a contractual dispute according to which Mr Eboué was ordered to pay the players’ agent Mr Sébastien Boisseau an amount owed to him based on the representation agreement between the two parties.

The decision was taken on the basis of the FIFA Players’ Agents Regulations in force at the time (2008 edition). ”On 9 September 2014, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee decided to sanction Mr Eboué with a fine of CHF 30,000 for failing to comply with the decision of the single judge of the Players’ Status Committee on the basis of art. 64 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code. The player was also granted a final period of grace of 120 days to settle his debt, upon failure of which the creditor – Mr Boisseau – would be entitled to request that a one-year ban on taking part in any football-related activity be imposed on Mr Eboué.”

Mr Eboué appealed to CAS against the FIFA Disciplinary Committee’s decision, but the appeal was dismissed and the decision of the Disciplinary Committee confirmed in full. ”Following the expiry of the final deadline granted, Mr Boisseau requested that the one-year ban be imposed on Mr Eboué in accordance with the decision of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee. The relevant parties, including The Football Association which has been requested to implement said ban, have been informed accordingly.”

Note!!! APC is Not Responsible For Current Economic Hardship – Akpabio

The Senate Minority Leader and member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Godswill Akpabio has appealed to Nigerians not to blame the current economy woes on the All Progressives Congress, APC, led government. Addressing journalists in Arochukwu, Abia State, Akpabio said the country’s current economic challenge was a global phenomenon orchestrated by the steady fall in oil prices.

Akpabio who advocated for diversification of the economy said the global economic meltdown is being felt more by Nigerians because the country runs a mono-economy built around oil. He enjoined the Federal Government to pay attention to other sector of the economy like mining, agricultural and entrepreneurship ventures and as well as foreign direct investment to boost the country’s revenue base.

Akpabio said, “So, what has happened here is that with the massive failure, what we call oil glut in the market, the oil price has reduced below what we expected in the last 20 years. That automatically has affected our economy. “It has nothing to do with which administration is in power. It has something to do with resources to be able to deliver the dividend of democracy.”

The former Governor while admitting the effect of the harsh economy on the citizenry sued for patience from Nigerians and solicited support for the present administration in the interest of the country. “The country belongs to all of us and if the country collapses on our heads, it means that we bequeath nothing to our children,” he said.

You Will Never Use Your Phone In a Toilet Again after reading this! (Click to Read)

Sometimes we all take a phone into the toilet. But it is a very dangerous habit! You can expose yourself and others to germs like salmonella, E. Coli and C. “If you wipe your bum then pick up your phone, you may as well not bother washing your hands because all the bacteria you put on your phone will end up back on your hands,” hygiene expert Dr. Lisa Ackerley told.

So what we all should do? Dr. Ron Cutler, director of biomedical science degrees at Queen Mary’s University London, said: “Basically, you just shouldn’t (take your phone into the toilet) if you are at all concerned about the transfer of viruses and fecal contamination.” He said that levels of contamination vary widely depending on where the toilet is. A small office may not be a problem, but a hospital or a cruise ship where viruses may be circulating are different.

Remember, viruses transfer not only by hands. It is the main way, but not the only one. “Spray could travel around six feet from the flush,” Dr. Ackerley said. That’s why you shouldn’t leave your toothbrush close to the toilet and put your phone down on the toilet roll holder or any shelf that might be there. By the way, germs could survive up to a couple of days on your phone! “Phones heat up a little bit giving bacteria a nice warm environment,” Dr. Ron Cutler said. “If people handle sweets and leave a sticky coating on the phone, that’s an even better place for bacteria.” So don’t forget to wash your hands with soap and water and leave the phone in your bag before visiting the toilet!

we've achieved, I won't resign- NFF boss Amaju Pinnick...

Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick has come out to defend his term in office after critics called on him to resign following Super Eagles failure to qualify for AFCON 2017.

Amaju highlighted his achievements with other national football teams during his tenure as enough proof his stewardship has been a success and categorically stated he won't resign as he had a four year tenure to complete. "I was elected by the Congress of the Nigeria Football Federation for a four-year team and I don't see why I should be asked to resign with over two years to serve," said Pinnick.

With all due respect, I don't think we have done badly in these past one and half years that we have been in office and I have a four-year mandate which I intend to see through. When we came in we had a case running for nine months and this affected us. "In between we won Fifa Under 17 World Cup, we won the Africa Women's Championship and we also qualified for the women' s Under17 and U20 World Cups coming up this year. “I think we have achieved.

Again we have very young Super Eagles players that should be the future of the game in the country. On the choice of Kaduna as venue of the Afcon match against Egypt, we picked Kaduna because of the passion the people have for the game and the fact that the venue boasts of the best pitch in the country presently and they stood behind the team all through. Aside from that, the Super Eagles have never lost a match there so it was all these that we considered on picking the Ahmadu Bello Stadium to host Egypt,” he said.

In Ibadan, Court Dissolves A 7-Year Old Marriage Over Wife’s Constant Adultery

I found condoms in my wife’s bag and she could not give a satisfactory explanation how she came about it,’’ an estranged hubby told an Ibadan Customary Court just as the court dissolved the seven-year-old marriage on Tuesday. A Mapo Customary Court dissolved the union between Sikiru Alabi and his wife, Basira, on the grounds of prostitution and adultery.

Alabi, an automobile mechanic in Popo Yemoja area of the metropolis had approached the court, seeking an end to his marriage to Basira, a hairdresser at Idi Arere area of the city. The President of the court, Mr Ademola Odunade, said cheating on the part of a husband or wife was “deadly’’….. He ruled:“It is in view of the circumstances surrounding the issue at hand that the court decided to put an end to the relationship between Alabi and Basira.

”Alabi shall take custody of the five and a half year-old child produced by the union, while Basira should be free to see the child in court anytime she wants.’’ The husband told the court:“Nemesis caught up with her recently when I met a man on her deeply engaged in s3xual intercourse right in my house. ”I was mad, but Basira quickly pleaded with me,promising not to do it again. ”Though, I forgave her, but she is still neck deep in adultery.’’

Alabi said Basira was also engaged in prostitution and had continued to rain curses on him and his relatives for her adultery. Basira, however, did not deny the allegations, saying:“It is true that there is no more love between I and Alabi.’’ Basira pleaded with the court to grant her the custody of the child after dissolving the marriage. The Nigerian Army said on Tuesday that it had captured Alagarno, the `spiritual power base’ of the Boko Haram terrorists in the North-East. Maj.-Gen. Some insurgents were killed while 2 were arrested. In addition, 2 BHT Toyota pick-up vehicles, 40 motorcycles and fuel dumps were destroyed, he said. Excerpt of the press statement below: PRESS CONFERENCE ON OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE BY MAJOR GENERAL LUCKY IRABOR, THEATRE COMMANDER, OPERATION LAFIYA DOLE ON 29TH MARCH 2016

1. Consistent with our promise to keep the public duly informed of the progress in Operation LAFIYA DOLE, I wish to address you today, to give an update of operations since our last formal meeting. You are quite aware of the change of Command in the Theatre since 17 Mar 16. My inability to address you since assuming Command is largely due to the operations we have been conducting to which the outcome would be made public in this briefing. The Nigerian troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE in a bid to bring the insurgency in the North East to an end have recorded successes. Some of the major successes are:

a. Capture of KUMSHE. On 23 Feb 16 at about 0740 hrs, Own troops in conjunction with Cameroonian forces commenced advance to clear and capture KUMSHE. Twenty Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) were killed while equipment captured include one gun truck mounted with Anti-Aircraft gun, 2 AK 47 rifles as well as 60 mm mortar. Three Cameroonian soldiers sustained injuries while trying to deactivate Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) buried along the way. It is worthy to note that the joint force encountered about 10 IEDs during the operation. KUMSHE was eventually captured with little resistance from the BHTs on 24 Feb 16.

b. Capture of KALA- BALGE. On 23 Mar 16 troops of 22 Brigade in conjunction with elements of Armed Forces Special Forces (AFSF) Battalion and Army Headquarters Strike Group (AHQ SG) advanced to clear, capture and hold Kala-Balge LGA and the general areas of the Local Government. In the process, pockets of insurgents in Wumbi, Tunish and Tilem villages were cleared.

The BHT training camp at Tilem was destroyed. The terrorists suffered heavy causalities including the destruction of 2 of their Toyota pick-up vehicles and 4 Canter trucks. Troops recovered 4 AK 47 rifles and a Mortar tube. Our gallant troops killed 15 insurgents, recovered other weapons and equipment and freed 567 civilians held hostage. The pictures of troops in KALA BALGE LGA are as shown on the screen. Troops are currently conducting clearing operations in the general area to destroy remnants of the terrorists still operating in KALA- BALGE. c. Offensive to Capture ALAGARNO. On 18 Mar 16 at about 0900 hrs troops of 3 and 7 Division commenced advance to capture ALAGARNO with a preparatory air bombardment by NAF. Advance was halted severally due to planted IEDs along the routes leading to ALAGARNO.

During the operations, troops cleared YAJIWA, JOBA, MOSA, ARIWUZUMARI, MISSENE SANSAN and KAGALMARI villages. Our gallant troops finally entered ALAGARNO on 28 Mar 16 during which several BHTs were killed along the route. This operation demystified the BHT spiritual power base in ALAGARNO. Throughout the operation, the NAF monitored the operation, consistently resupplied the advancing troops as well as assisted in evacuating soldiers that were wounded in action.

2. You will recall that motorcycles were inducted into the operation and launched by the Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen TY Buratai on 27 Feb 16 at DAMBOA. The Motor Cycle Battalion has been very useful in areas of road piquetting and for patrols among other tasks. Let me also state that troops in the Theatre have also been conducting clearing operations on a daily basis in the Theatre of Operation to destroy remnants of the terrorists still harbouring in some Local Government Areas as well as rescue civilians held in captivity. Clearing operations that troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE have conducted includes:

a. Troops of 81 Task Force Battalion cleared and destroyed Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) camps at KOMALA, DOLE, KUMASI and MAUDORI villages around the fringes of ALARGANO. Some insurgents were killed while 2 were arrested. In addition, 2 BHT Toyota pick-up vehicles, 40 motorcycles and fuel dumps were destroyed. b. In another development, troops of 25 Brigade cleared BHT camps at Galmasku Muli, Chiralia, Maisani Talala, Ajigin Shetimalau 1 and 2 and Dalomi. During the operation 250 hostages were rescued, 5 BHT trucks, 80 motorcycles and many bicycles were destroyed. Additionally, several IED-making materials were recovered and destroyed.

c. In a similar development, troops of 7 Division comprising 112 Battalion, AHQ SG and Air Component conducted joint fighting patrol with civilian JTF to Anadawa, Talbari, Choga, Dagumba, and Hagibiri Manawaji in Mafa-konduga axis. On sighting own troops, the in insurgents fled. Consequently, troops destroyed the BHT camps at Dagumba and also cleared the Mafa-Konduga road.

d. Troops of 157 TF Bn in 8 TF Div Area of Responsibility conducted ambush along BHT crossing points between Mile 90 and Yoyo. In the process 3 motorcycles and several gallons of PMS were recovered. Additionally, troops of Brigade Quick Response (QRG) Force of Headquarters 7 Brigade MNJTF sprung a deliberate ambush 10km east of Kekenoa on some BHT riding motorcycles. Two insurgents were killed while 2 AK 47 rifles, 2 magazines, 3 motorcycles, one hand grenade, and some food items were recovered.

e. Troops of 25 TF Bde conducted offensive operations to clear BHTs from their base at TALALA and AJIGIN. Troops cleared the insurgent camps at GALMASKU MULI, CHIRALIA, DOKSA, GWOLGORE, MAISANI, TALALA, AJIGIN, SHETIMALU 1&2 and DALOMI. Our gallant troops destroyed 15 pick -up vehicles, 5 trucks and 80 motor cycles. Several IED making materials were also recovered and destroyed. f. Troops of 27 TF Bde conducted fighting patrol to suspected BHTs hideout close to GAMSARI village in YUSUFANARI LGA in Yobe State. Troops successfully cleared the terrorists from their hideout. Among the items recovered was one Armoured Personnel Carrier captured from our troops in 2015. Other items are one Isreali assault rifle, extra magazine, 70 rounds of 5.56mm (NATO) and one Motor Cycle.

3. The Theatre Command wishes to reassure the public of its untiring resolve to safeguard lives and properties of Nigerians in the North East. Regarding the online video clip purportedly released by the BHT leader or his replica showing remorse and making a dying testimony, let me unequivocally state that it does not have any influence on Operation LAFIYA DOLE as our gallant troops are determined to completely wipe out all terrorists in our great country Nigeria. It is imperative to add that we shall not rest on our oars in implementing the directives of our courageous leaders, C-in-C, CDS, the COAS Lt Gen TY Buratai, and other Service Chiefs at ensuring that the BHTs are completely defeated and their remnants cleared wherever they hibernate.

However, we are mindful that most of the BHT are tired of their ignoble adventure. We are ready to receive them whenever they so decide. Consequently, all would be terrorists, suicide bombers and other BHTs are advised to do away with their senseless venture and surrender to the security forces. For those ready to surrender, they are hereby assured that they would be humanely treated in line with international best practices and in accordance with the International Humanitarian Law.

4. Let me once again commend the invaluable support and contributions of all stake holders in this fight against insurgency in the North East. I wish to assure you that the Nigerian Military is more than ever determined to secure our great country. To the members of the public, I urge you to remain vigilant and report any suspicious movement of persons and objects to the military or to the nearest security agency. Before I end this brief, I will like to place on record, the commendable cooperation and contribution of the Cameroonian Forces.

Their active involvement even at the expense of the lives and well-being of their troops is worthy of emulation by our other neighbours. I wish to also use this opportunity to commiserate with the Cameroonians for the loss of their gallant officer and soldiers who paid the supreme sacrifice during the joint operations. We equally remember the death of Maj Gen YM Abubakar in the line of duty. May the gentle souls of all troops from Nigeria and Cameroon who lost their lives rest in peace. Thank you.

LOL!! This Was Spotted In A Police Station (See Photo)

This is quite shocking…a place which should be the “safest” in the country is actually not safe… When the police which are meant to protect lives and properties of citizens are not even sure of their own security, then there is a very big problem in the country… This was spotted right in one of the police stations in the country a generator set firmly CHAINED to a window protector due to fear of prowling thieves. The main question on the lips of Nigerians is ‘Which thieves are the police scared of, internal or external?’

MC Oluomo says he never Hosted any Bra.-Less Party: “I Am A Devoted Muslim”

MC Oluomo denies hosting bra-less party – The treasurer of the Lagos state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya has denied reports that he hosted a bra-less party. Akinsanya, who is popularly known as MC Oluomo, was said to have celebrated his birthday at The Place in GRA Ikeja, and had asked female attendees to come without wearing underwear.

Speaking to Encomium however, Akinsanya denied the reports, saying those women photographed were not his guests. He said:- “We all know how big D’Place is, and a lot of people come there, including prostitutes. They only took the pictures of some prostitutes and club girls who were not part of the event, who didn’t even get close to the venue where they organized the party for me, and they posted the pictures to depict my guests.

“If you check the pictures very well, you will agree with me that they’re club girls, not my guests. To cry out loud, I am a devout Muslim which I believe everybody knows. I pray five times daily, and I have been to Mecca, Saudi Arabia for both lesser Hajj and full Hajj many times. Not only that, I have also sent a lot of people to Mecca on pilgrimage, and of course which I do every year.

“How, for God’s sake, can I be involved in such immorality? How can I organize that kind of a party? What do I stand to gain from such a thing? For instance, you as a man, if I invite your wife to such a party, will you allow her to come? At this juncture, I believe you also should understand that the whole thing was fabricated by enemies of progress whose aim was to bring me down. “But my belief is that the house God has built, no one can demolish it. I know I have enemies and there are opposition here and there who may want to do everything to malign me. That can’t happen because Allah is solidly behind me.”

FG finally Releases the Pictures Of Suspected Chibok School Girl Bomber

The Federal Government has released the photographs of the suspected female bomber arrested in Cameroon on Friday who claimed to be one of the abducted chibok school girls by Boko Haram in 2014.

The senior special assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said that the Cameroonian health and security officials on Monday started the treatment of the arrested suicide bomber. He said that the health condition of the girl who was found to be heavily drugged and bore several injuries on her body had delayed her movement to the far north regional capital of Cameroon, Maroua, as earlier planned.

According to shehu, the photographs were provided to verify her claim, he stated that since the pictures of the girl suggested that she could be a minor, the government had decided not to publish them but make them available for interested persons from Chibok. His words: “Pictures of the arrested suspected bomber obtained by the Nigerian officials indicated that the girl was likely to be a minor, between ages nine and 12 years. Her accomplice was about 30 years or more, and both spoke only in Kanuri language.

“Considering the well-known guidelines regarding the publication of photographs of minors, we have decided to forward the pictures of the suspected bomber to the Murtala Mohammed Foundation for verification by interested Chibok community stakeholders. “The Ministry of Women Affairs, the Nigerian High Commission in Cameroon and other agencies of government will continue to work together with other stakeholders to verify all the issues,” he added.

President Buhari Has Gotten It Right With Boko Haram – olusegun Obasanjo

“I know that he (Buhari) is very, very concerned about the insurgency. He has gotten it right that first of all there must be military ascendancy over the insurgents,” says former president Olusegun Obasanjo. Obasanjo stated this on Monday during a visit to the Borno state government house, where he met with the state governor, Kashim Shettima.

The former president praised President Muhammadu Buhari for his ongoing efforts to stop Boko Haram militancy in the region. Obasanjo, who expressed hope that the terror activities will so be a thing of the past, also said that: “I do travel a lot in Africa and outside Africa. Where I have gone in recent times, what the people wanted to know is how Nigeria is coping with the situation of insurgency.” “I think we are not out of the woods yet, but it appeared we can see the light beyond the tunnel,” he said.

“There is no doubt that with the combined efforts at the local level, at the state level and at the federal level, even at the community level, that our security forces are on the ascendancy over the forces of destruction and the menace of insurgency that we have experienced for almost six years now.” Speaking on the return of socio-economic activities in the state, Obasanjo said: “My experience from the airport to Government House is that what I experienced in 2011 is different from what I experienced today.” “There is evidence that things are changing, the situation is improving. We pray that by the end of this year no one will be in the Internally Displaced Persons camp again.”
