DHB-NEWS: Bola Tinubu Takes The Rich And Famous To Milan For Son’s Marriage
Milan will creak at the eaves for Nigerian politicians. Seyi Tinubu, the son of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, two-time governor of Lagos State and All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, is getting married to Layal Holm, his Lebanese lover of months. Expectedly, Tinubu is leaving no stone unturned to give his son a wondrous wedding. Until their union, they were like jagged pieces of two glass hearts yearning for their missing parts. Then they found each other and fit perfectly in place. The first molded with the second and in the heat of the moment, held from head to toe. A perfect masterpiece, a love so high it despises going low.
Predictably, many people are eager to be part of the memorable celebration. Not a few people have been jostling to lay their hands on a copy of the invite, but unfortunately, it would be easier to embark on a round-trip through the Bermuda triangle than to get the invitation card. That is how scarce and exclusive the party would be.
Seyi is a Law graduate. He acquired his LLB degree from the prestigious University of Buckingham, United Kingdom. He acquired his Masters in Corporate & Commercial Law at the same university where he came out on merit. Layal on the other hand, is of Lebanese and Nigerian descent. She is said to be a brilliant consultant at foremost auditing firm, Price Waterhouse Cooper (PWC).
The 25-year-old is a graduate of Political Science and African Studies at the SOAS (School of Oriental Studies) University of London. She also has a Masters in Entrepreneurship & Business Management from the University of Surrey. Source: ThisDay

10 Explanations You Don’t Owe Anyone (must read)
Certain situations make you feel like you must respond a certain way or act in a specific manner. And yes, some people think they know what is best for you and your livelihood. REGARDLESS OF ALL OF THOSE THINGS, YOU MUST REMEMBER, YOU DON’T OWE ANYONE AN EXPLANATION FOR…
1. YOUR LIVING SITUATION.
The way you live your life at home is no one’s business but your own. It doesn’t matter whether you have housemates, live alone, live unmarried with a partner, or if you still live with your ex.
2. YOUR LIFE PRIORITIES.
Dream of opening a restaurant? Want to become a pastor at your church? Have an urge to sell all of your belongings and backpack through Peru? Go for it! And remember, you never need to explain your priorities to anyone because they are your priorities, and are not there to impress people.
3. NEEDING ALONE TIME.
If you require alone time in your life, you’re not being rude, introverted, or unfriendly, despite what others might think. You just need time to be by yourself- alone. We all need time to find our center and refocus.
4. YOUR PHYSICAL APPEARANCE.
We all go through changes with our bodies. Losing weight, gaining weight, getting a new hairstyle, growing a beard, or doing anything different with your physical appearance doesn’t require an explanation. They will just have to deal with your purple hair.
5. YOUR FOOD PREFERENCES.
Not everyone is fan of pizzas and burgers. Some folks like banana and bacon sandwiches, or they prefer spaghetti with butter instead of tomato sauce. We all have different tastes when it comes to food. If someone tries to judge you over it, don’t pay them any mind. You just go ahead an dip your French fries in your ice cream. People Explain Why They Lost Interest After a Few Dates
6. YOUR S*X LIFE.
This is a no-brainer. It is a very personal part of your life, and whether your s*x life does or doesn’t exist, it’s no one’s business but your own. There will always be someone who will pass judgment on you for who you sleep with or what your sexuality is. But I’ve found, their opinion doesn’t matter.
7. YOUR CAREER OR PERSONAL LIFE CHOICES.
Go in the direction you want to go, and follow the path of your choosing. If you are a talented artist who desires working in the legal field, follow your heart. If being a lawyer is your dream, go for it. The ones who truly care for you will support your decision.
8. YOUR RELIGIOUS OR POLITICAL VIEWS.
These days, it’s easy to pick a fight- just ask someone what their political or religious affiliation is and watch the battle ensue. Whether you are a Republican or a Democrat, a Catholic or a Protestant, it is your choice and yours alone, and you never need to defend your beliefs (as long as they don’t harm anyone). Of course, if someone wants to have a mature, candid discussion with you about the topic, then go for it. Exchanging ideas and viewpoints can expand the mind and is beneficial for both parties.
9. BEING SINGLE.
Regardless if you’ve been single for a week or a year, you’re probably comfortable with the decision at this point in your life. If people are pressuring you to find a date, or to get married and settle down, tell them to mind their own. Being single can be great.
10. YOUR RELATIONSHIP CHOICES.
Did your ex ask you to get back together and you said yes? Did you forgive the one that cheated on you?Did you turn down a marriage proposal? Well guess what? All of these decisions were made by you for your own set of reasons. You followed your heart and this is where you landed, and you don’t owe anyone an explanation for that. Life can be complicated, and the people around us can either make it more difficult, or they can ease the burdens by supporting your choices. You don’t have to give explanations for everything.

I do not own even a 9inch block outside Nigeria. When I travel, I stay in a hotel”. He stated that for instance, “Dangote cement, if we take it to Ghana, we will make N500 on each bag, but we didn’t do that.
We (Dangote Group) are attacking the economy with a policy of no more import, which will create jobs. DHB-NEWS: Inspector Of Police Caught Stealing Plantain In Lagos…See Shocking Details
According to Punch Metro, the suspect was arrested on Tuesday while trying to hide the plantain in two trucks. It was learnt that a senior police officer in the command ordered his detention and his arraignment for the crime. A source at the command, however, said another senior officer pleaded with the officer that the suspect be released as the incident could embarrass the command.
He said, “The inspector is attached to the Railway Police Command. On Tuesday around 12pm, he went to the commissioner’s lodge and harvested plantains without any authority. As if that was not bad enough, he brought two trucks into the command to take the plantain away. He wanted to cover up the plantains with some iron sheets so that he could take them through the gate without being detected. “He was on this when some workers at the Railway Command called the attention of the authorities to it and he was arrested.”
Punch Metro reports that another source revealed that the superior officer of the suspect pleaded for his release. He said, “The matter is still on. The senior officer who pleaded that he should not be prosecuted explained that the action could dent the image of the command.”
The Commissioner of Police, Railway Police Command, Pius Imue, however, said he was not in Lagos, adding that he could not comment on the incident. He said, “I have been in Abuja since last weekend for the inauguration of the Abuja-Kaduna railway line, so I haven’t been on the ground to know about the incident. And if this happened in the command, officers who were on the ground would have attended to it.”
DHB-NEWS: Many feared dead As Military Bombards Lagos & Ogun Creeks
There has been a lot of commotion. The Nigerian Air Force bombarded Fatola, in Arepo, which is the base of the militants, a resident confirmed. They are shelling the place with fighter jets. Some soldiers also surrounded the area to make sure that if any of the militants should run out, they would be gunned down. Another resident of Imushin area of Ogun state told Punch that the attack started sometime around 6pm on Thursday evening.
“An aircraft had actually been surveying the creek for the past three days. But a second one joined this evening around 6pm. All we heard was a sudden bomb blast released from the second aircraft. “But it appeared that some of the militants had fled into the bush. There are four major bases of the militants in the creek and they are led by two men- OC and Agbala. If the military can get these two people, then they would have succeeded in clipping the wings of the militants,” the resident said. The Director, Defence Information, Brig.-Gen. Rabe Abubakar also confirmed the operation, adding that it is a routine operation for the purpose of denying the vandals and other criminal elements from causing terror in the area.
Abubakar added, “The operation was initiated by the defence headquarters to dominate the area with a view to flushing out all manners of criminals including militants and saboteurs. The operation involved the joint forces of the navy and army and it has been successful.”
According to the Lagos Police Command’s Spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmos: “The Nigerian military and policemen from the Lagos and Ogun commands are part of the operation. We are sweeping through the waterways where we share boundaries to end the activities of the militants. It is a continuous exercise and we cannot tell the number of casualties.”
