Army Kills Notorious Boko Haram Leader, Others, Recovers Weapons From Them (Photos)

A notorious leader of the insurgent group, Boko Haram as well as two other members known for terrorising Sabon Gari and Damboa, in Borno, have been killed by Nigerian troops. Nigerian Army, Colonel Sani Usman said the suspected terrorists were killed on Sunday, by soldiers on fighting patrol. ‎The statement said, ”As part of their determined efforts to rid the society of all known Boko Haram terrorists enclaves and hideouts, troops of 25 Task Force Brigade based on tip off conducted a fighting patrol along Damboa-Njaba-Bale road in Borno State. ”The troops encountered and killed three suspected Boko Haram terrorists that had been terrorizing the communities around Sabon Gari and Damboa. ”Among those killed was the Boko Haram terrorists Ameer (Leader) in Bulayaga. The Ameer was notorious in terrorizing Bale, Wass and Mufurundi villages. ”The troops recovered an AK-47 rifle with its magazine, 43 rounds of 7.62mm Special Ammunition, 1 Grinding Machine and 5 Dane Guns. Other items recovered include 7 Motorcycles,21 bags of grains and 2 Boko Haram terrorists flags hoisted. ”In a related development today, troops of 7 Division Garrison on patrol at Mainari village in Mafa Local Government Area had an encounter with Boko Haram terrorists. The encounter led to the killing of 9 terrorists and recovery of weapons which includes 4 AK-47 and 1 Pump Action Gun. The patrol teams have continued to dominate the respective areas.”

It goes without saying that unemployment is wide spread in Nigeria. However, most graduates can still live comfortably if they can follow the pieces of advice below:- 1.Don’t demand for too much:Most unemployed graduates want to recieve huge salary immidiately after graduation which is not bad but unreasonable considering Nigeria’s context and their connections. Their empty pride denied them of jobs because jobs are somehow “available” “everywhere” in Nigeria, the salary may be too lean though.Anyway, if you are influencial or you can build your influence, you can request for any amount. If not, you need to go for jobs that will atleast earn you living. With this, you will be able to develop you appearance , skills etc., and retain your confidence to seek better jobs. Don’t ever see the current job as the dead end, look for better ones — It is just a placeholder. 2.Build your skills and confidence:Any company needs skills and talents and they are looking for these as you are looking for job. For them to discover you, you must be outstanding. Look for the problems of companies or anything that will grow their profits. Don’t let them come to you, go and show them what you “gat” but don’t undervalue you worth. Build your confidence even if you soak garri everyday. 3.Create a job:You are having problem to get job because preceeding generations don’t create sufficent jobs. Be realistic. If no one gives you job and the labour market is stagnant while labour force is increasing, create one for yourself. But most graduate deprive themselves of great opportunities with their empty pride. Pride without proof is useless — get rid of your pride till the right moment. If you can create great things, join your talented friends or colleuges to create things. Jobberman founders are able to get job and employ many graduates through job seekers — funny but true. Kenyan Muslims Shield Christians During Islamic Sect Attack

A group of Kenyan Muslims travelling on a bus ambushed by Islamist gunmen, protected Christian passengers by refusing to be split into groups during an attack by Islamic sect members on their bus which was traveling from the capital Nairobi to the town of Mandera this morning. The militants ambushed the bus, asked all the passengers to come down, then they asked the Muslims among them to return into the bus while the Christians should stay back. Kenyan media reports that the Muslim passengers refused to be separated, telling the militants “to kill them together or leave them alone”. “The locals showed a sense of patriotism and belonging to each other. The militants decided to leave after the passengers’ show of unity” Mandera governor Ali Roba told Kenya’s private Daily Nation newspaper. But two people lost their lives during the ambush.
